Volunteer Opportunities
There are many ways that you can donate time and use your skills to help us in our work. Here are just a few areas where we can always use your help:
Office Volunteer
Volunteer for 2, 4 or 6 hours in our NYC office during an afternoon or evening, assisting in key administrative, program and fund raising activities.
Graphics Designer
Have a flair for the creative side of things? We are always in need of creative talent to assist us with designing flyers for events and other program materials.
Website and Media Support
We are seeking to build a team to help us build and maintain our growing online and media programs – including development and support of our web site, eNewsletter and audio and video content. Basic and advanced skills in web design and support (e.g. HTML), Constant Contact, and knowledge of Apple/Mac video editing programs, e.g. iMovie, iDVD, Final Cut Studio and video/audio editing are greatly needed.
Program Facilitators
Every program we do needs someone to head up the team. This can range from coordinating logistics for events, helping to prepare materials with our Teachers and onsite program help. This is one of the best ways to serve and learn the Dharma!
