Who We Are

Lama Gangchen International Foundation, USA is a 501(c)(3) humanitarian foundation committed to creating a culture of peace and non-violence. We are the US Affiliate of Lama Gangchen World Peace Foundation, a United Nations NGO, founded by Lama Gangchen Rinpoche in 1997. Born in Tibet and trained by many of the great Tibetan masters, Lama Gangchen is one of the world’s greatest living humanitarians, healers and spiritual masters – part of an unbroken lineage dating back 2,500 years to Shakyamuni Buddha.

With over 85 centers and study groups in 20 countries, we support countless humanitarian projects throughout the world. We are an organization supported entirely by volunteers committed to improving the quality of life and making this world a more peaceful, less violent and compassionate place. We gratefully welcome any financial, volunteer and resource assistance.
